April Fasting & Praying

Day 1

  • Psalm 103:3: - He has forgiven us of our iniquities and He has healed us of my diseases. Therefore, we choose to trust in His finished work.
  • Isaiah 53:4-5:- For He himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was laid upon Him. And by His stripes, we are healed.
  • Psalm 124:7; 2 Tim. 1:7 We declare our soul has escaped like a bird from the snare of fear, confusion, and anxiety; the snare has been broken and our soul has escaped.
  • Romans 8:15: We declare that we have not received the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but we have received the Spirit of adoption as God’s child to cry, ‘Abba!  Father!
  • Isaiah 35:4: We say to every fearful heart, be strong, do not fear; your God will come, He will come with vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save and strengthen you.
  • Ephesians 2:4-6 | Lord, we thank you for Your great love for us. We thank you for resuscitating and saving us by grace through Christ even when we were dead in transgressions.
  • Ephesians 2:6 | Thank you for raising us up with Christ and seated us with You in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

Day 2:

  • Galatians 5:1; 2 Cor. 3:17 We stand firm in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and we receive wisdom, grace and hunger for His word; not to be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
  • Romans 8:2 We declare that the law of the Spirit of life has set us free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death in every area of our life.
  • Romans 6:6-7 For one who has died has been set free from sin therefore, we declare that our old self was crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we will no longer be enslaved to sin, guilt, shame, ungodly habits, sickness or the spirit of infirmity.
  • Psalm 124:7; 2 Tim. 1:7 We declare our soul has escaped like a bird from the snare of fear, confusion and anxiety; the snare has been broken and our soul has escaped.
  • Romans 8:15: We declare that we have not received the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but we have received the Spirit of adoption as God’s child to cry, ‘Abba!  Father!
  • Gal. 2:20 | I declare I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Day 3:

  • 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, In the name of Jesus, we cast down every imagination, and every high thing that is trying to exalt itself in our life, against the knowledge of God. We bring into captivity every thought of ungodly guilt, shame, self-condemnation, and worthlessness to the obedience of Christ.
  • Hebrews 10:22: We receive the revelation to draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having my hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with the pure water of God’s word.
  • Rom. 8:1-2: There is therefore now no condemnation to us, because we are in Christ Jesus, and we do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death.
  • Isaiah 35:4: We say to every fearful heart, be strong, do not fear; your God will come, He will come with vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save and strengthen you.
  • We receive the Holy Spirit’s enablement to subject our mind, our thoughts, and our flesh to the law of God (Rom 7:25).
  • We pray for the renewal of our mind(s) mentally, spiritually, emotionally through transformation by God’s word: Ps. 119:133; Acts 6:7; 19:20; Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 1:3; 4:12.
  • 1 Kings 8:29-30 | We pray that our Churches will continue to be a place where prayers are answered, where mighty signs and wonder are taking place and a place to grow in the knowledge of God's truth.
