Saturday Prayer Session - 04_04_2026

Theme: Victory Under My Feet

At its core, easter is about:

  •        Jesus coming back to life from death:
  •          Victory over sin, death and evil
  •          Hope for us all who believe
  •          Opening the door to a new relationship with God
  •          Given a new identity in Christ
  •          The cross forgave us, but resurrection brought us home

His suffering is part of the atonement plan of Jesus – through his suffering, many are restored and renewed

Easter carries deep meaning:

  •          From death to life
  •          From darkness to light
  •          From sin to forgiveness
  •          From confusion to clarity
  •          From slavery to sonship

The full gospel journey:

  • Isaiah 53 → Jesus dies for sin
  • Easter → Jesus rises from the dead
  • Ephesians → We are made alive AND adopted

Resurrection Victory

  •        Sin is defeated
  •        Death is defeated
  •        The enemy is defeated

Our Identity

We are Forgiven, Adopted, Predestined, loved, secure, Accepted, Redeemed, Informed, heirs and sealed with the Holy Spirit

As we stand: Power, Influence and Confidence come from a sense of identity

Adoption, Mission and Vision

Adoption means becoming God’s child through the finished work of Christ. We now belong to him as a son or daughter

Eph 1:5 - Rom 8:14

  • Bondage is a Spirit
  •  Adoption is a Spirit

Key aspects of Jesus' Mission of reconciliation include:

  • The cross as the means to an end – the shedding of Jesus’s blood accomplished our victory
  • Fixing broken relations – sin causes a big divide that humanity could not mend
  • The great exchange – Jesus took upon himself the sins of humanity, offering his righteousness in exchange.
  •  Reconcile all things – through Christ, not only humanity, but all things in heaven
  • The ministry of reconciliation – believers are entrusted with sharing this message, acting as ambassadors to implore others to be reconciled

Prayer and Reflection points

2 Cor 5:12-20  -  Isa 49:5-6 - 1 Cor 6:12 & 20  - 2 Cor 10:4 - 1 John 5:7-8 - Heb 12:22 - Heb 9:11

2 Cor 5:12-20

  • We will walk in dominion and authority that Christ has given us
  • Let us declare that we have been rescued from the grave, limiting beliefs or limitations
  • Eph 1:18 – Let us pray that the eye of our understanding will be enlightened that we may know what the hope of his calling is, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
  •  Let us pray that the Lord will grant us the grace to reconcile the unsaved back to him
  •   Eph 1:22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him to be head over all things to the church. We decree and declare that sin shall not have dominion over us – sin is destroyed over our lives - we are walking in victory holistically
  • Eph 2:10 for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good work which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
  • The mission of God to bring light, restoration and impact beyond what we can imagine will be evidenced in our lives.
  •  We shall take our assignment global, and it will not overwhelm us
  •  We shall obey the precepts of God and honour him with our lives
  •   We shall flourish and prosper in the assignment

Purposeful Discipleship

Day 1—Personal consecration and purposeful living.

  • Ps. 34:1-5 | Thank God for the last two months of 2025. Thank HIM for the souls saved, for the miracles experienced, for the spiritual interventions, for the mind renewals, for the relationships formed or renewed, for the children born and for the lives transformed.
  • Hosea 10:12 | Lord, as we wait on you these few days, break up the fallow ground of our mind. Draw us to fresh thirst and yearning for you. Let your rain of righteousness fall afresh on us.
  • Zechariah 12:10 | Lord, pour out grace for consecration and supplication through Your Holy Spirit and enlarge our desire for Jesus who was pierced for our sin and victory.
  • 1 Thess. 2:11-12 | Through God’s Spirit, we receive great grace to walk in a manner worthy of the One who called us into His own kingdom and glory. (Eph. 4:1; Ps.141:4)
  • 1 Thess. 4:1-7 | Lord, cause us increase in whole life sanctification, conforming us into the image of Christ (Rom. 8:29)
  • Luke 2:40 | By Your grace on us, enlarge our spirit, fill us with fresh fire and passion. Cause us to be relentless and strong in You. (Psalm 42:1; Jer. 29:13)
  • 2 Cor. 10:3-6—Lord, through your living word, break down in our lives, the stronghold of every sophisticated argument and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up in our mind or emotions, against the true knowledge of God. We receive Your strength and revelation to be obedient to Your decree. We take every thought, emotion, and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ.
  • Acts 4:33—Lord, we believe You for Great Grace to live as witnesses for You and to proclaim the testimony of Your love, Your truth and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus to those we come in contact with.
  • Romans 8:13 | Father, in the name of Jesus, through the help of the Holy Spirit put to death all the activities of the flesh in us that produce unrighteous fruit, so that I can grow in my relationship with You. May we relentlessly increase our desire to be rooted and nourished in Christ. May we walk in him, rooted, built up in him, and established in the faith, abounding in him with thanksgiving. May we be filled with all the fullness of God.
  • Lord, visit the unsaved people of Lambeth, London and our neighbourhood and take out of them a people for your name. (Acts 15:14)
  • Lord, confirm your word of Grace in our lives/church/community—granting signs and wonders to be done by our hands. (Acts 14:3)

  • Ps. 103:1-2 | Thank God for your church’s journey so far. Thank HIM for the souls saved, for the miracles experienced, for the spiritual interventions, for the mind renewals, for the relationships formed or renewed, for the children born and for the lives transformed.
  • 1 Thess. 1:5,9—Lord, cause Your word being ministered to come with power and with conviction—bringing about lasting change. Cause us to turn away from idols, to serve You alone, our living and true God.

  • Acts 9:32—42 | This season, we receive the demonstration of God's love and power through us, causing many to believe & turn to the Lord.
  • Is. 55:5 | We call the nations that we do not know to the obedience of the gospel, and we declare that the nations that do not know us shall run to us, because the Lord our God and the Holy One of Israel has glorified us.
  • Romans 12:1-2 | Lord, cause us to be spiritually transformed not to be conformed to mental and emotional distractions and the emerging cultures. May we be relentless in renewing our mind, to prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
  • We believe that faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the word of God—so we declare, that this season, we shall ’hear’ God’s word in our spirit—and our mind and body shall respond to the dictate of our spirit (Romans 10:17)
  • We believe that in our Church—our God shall destroy every demonic covering, cast over the mind of His people. He will remove the veil that covers the eyes of understanding. Our God will wipe away tears, He shall take away the reproach of His people and His hand shall rest on us. (Isaiah 25:7-10)

Lord, in 2025—We ask YOU to reveal to us appointed seasons and the understanding of what to do in each season. We believe you Lord, for clarity to write down inspired goals and plans and the godly patience to wait for their fulfilment. By your grace, we declare that our mind shall not be confused; our goals shall be accurately defined, and our steps shall be divinely directed throughout this year.

We pray for individual and corporate revival in discipleship. We ask for Your strength to prioritise spiritual growth, to walk with YOU and to focus on what is purposefully valuable. We ask for deeper revelation of You and Your Holy Spirit so that we will be strong and resist ungodly challenges throughout this year. By Your Spirit, condition our mind to think on and our mouth to speak of what is true, honourable, right, pure, lovely, positive, excellent and praise-worthy throughout this year.

By Your Spirit, we will wisely DISCERN the season for change. By Your Spirit, we will engage necessary POSTURE. By Your Spirit, we will develop appropriate APTITUDE & ATTITUDE. By Your Spirit, we will maintain unwavering FOCUS. We will experience revival in spiritual life, increase in fruitfulness and experience life-transforming encounters. We receive grace and wisdom to apply right actions to our faith.

As we diligently obey the voice of the Lord our God, to observe carefully all His commandments which He will command us. We believe the Lord that we are blessed in the city, in the nation, in the fruit of our body and in the work of our hands. We believe the Lord for His blessing over everything that adds value to our lives—and in all to which we set our hand to do. Blessed are we in our movements and in our journeys.

We will be victorious over challenges in Jesus’ name!
