September - A season of Change

 

DAY 1- Pressing towards the Goal

• 1 Thess. 2:13. Heb. 4:2; Phil 3:13; Gal. 2:20; Col 3:1-3; Acts 2:42; 6:4; Romans 12:12;  Acts 2:37-39   

• Lord, cause us to welcome and receive your word with gladness and cause your word to effectively work in us and through us; mixing with faith resulting in purposeful growth.

• Give us the conviction to release the past, the faith to renew our perspectives, the vision to re-align our focus, and the wisdom to rightly-assign our resources to experience purposeful momentum and growth.

• Revive & ignite afresh in us, a dynamic praying & worship lifestyle 

• Through the ministry of your Holy Spirit, let Your word cut deep into our heart, let it expose every disfunctions in our lives and let it bring a lasting revival into our lives.

• Deliver us from every attack on our prayer life and cause us to escape every bondage, ensnarement or containment 

DAY 2  - Community Engagement

• Acts 14:27; Acts 15:14; 2 Cor. 4:3-6; Isaiah 49:24-25; Acts 14:3; Acts 2:47; Micah 4:1-5 

• Through the Church, Lord open the door of faith to unbelievers.

• Visit the unsaved people of Gipsy Hill and our neighbourhood and take out of them a people for your name. 

• The gospel will no longer be hidden to our communities.

•  Delinquent and unsaved members of our communities to be delivered and set free.

• Lord, confirm your word of Grace in our lives and community—let signs and wonders to be done by our hands.

• Wisdom to engage in community-focused outreach resulting in transformed lives. 

• Growth in Church membership and Christ-centred discipleship.

DAY 3 - Nations of Bethel

• Gen 12:13; Psalm 18:29; John 5:1-11; Ephesians 3:20; Col. 1:9-11; Phil 1:10; Ezekiel 37:1-10;  Gen 35:9-12

• May our nations receive the Lord’s wisdom, favour, and strength to overcome hindrances and overcome obstacles.

•  Lord, command the release and deliverance that will heal any spiritual, socio-emotional, and economic immobility we might be experiencing as a nation. 

•  May we be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. May we walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him. May we be fruitful in every good work and may we increase in the knowledge of God. May we be strengthened with all might to God’s glorious power to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy.

•  May we be filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, that we may approve the things that are excellent.

•  In our lives, Lord replace every dryness, inactivity, and any unproductive effort and replace with renewed commitment and strength, consistent righteousness, sustained progress, and lasting fulfilment! May every innate potential in our lives manifest maximally!

• Gen 35:9-12 - The God appeared to Jacob again, when he came from Padan Aram, and blessed him. And God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; your name shall not be called Jacob anymore, but Israel shall be your name” So he called his name Israel. Also God said to him “I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiple; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body. The land which I gave Abraham and Isaac I give to you; and to your descendants after you I give this land”

• Gen 18:18 – Father, cause us to become a great and mighty nations, that brings glory and honor to your name.
