Day 1:
Thanksgiving & Declaration:
1 Cor. 15:57; Gal. 2:20; Psalm 124:7; Psalm 125:3; Isaiah 49:25
- Give
thanks to the Lord, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ.
- Confess, “…I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who
live, but Christ who lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live
by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me…”
- Command every sinful snare over your life to be broken and your
soul to escape like a bird out of the snare of the trapper.
- Ask the Lord to contend with every sinful habit or ungodly
behaviour that contends with our desire for holiness and righteousness.
Relationships:
- That
we will do only what is beneficial and delight in God’s law (1 Cor. 6:
12-13; Rom. 7:22-25)
- We will
not give themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of
impurity (Eph. 4:19; 1 Thess. 5:22)
- The
spiritual discipline to guard the heart, keep the mouth free of perversity
and keep corrupt talk far from our lips. (Prov. 4:23-24)
- That
we will not let sin reign in our mortal body to obey its lusts, and we
will not go on presenting the members of our body to sin as instruments of
unrighteousness; but present ourselves to God as those alive from the
dead, and our members as instruments of righteousness to God. (Romans
6:12-14: 12)
- Pray for all those who are trusting the Lord for marriage partners (Gen. 2:18; 1 Cor. 7:2)
Day 2:
Spiritual growth: Ps. 1:2; Prov. 2:1-3; Ps.
119:9-11; Rom. 12:2; Gal. 5:16-18
- Pray for the boldness not to conform to this world, but to be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what the will of God is.
- Pray for a fresh fill of the Spirit of God and that, you will walk by the Spirit, and will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
