To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Day 1:
  • We pray for spiritual discernment and understanding of ‘times’ & ‘seasons’ (Ecclesiastes 3:1; 8:6; Daniel 9:2-3; Luke 12:56; 19:39-44; John 10:1-10;25-28)
  • Like the men of Issachar, we consecrate ourselves to discern the spiritual times and the seasons we are in; what to do, how and when. (1 Chronicles 12:32)
  • We trust You, for understanding of how to spiritually perceive times and seasons; the wisdom to mentally & emotionally position ourselves to distinguish what is consequentially necessary and what corresponding actions and measures are required (Dan. 2:21)
Day 2:
  • Lord, help us to discern the times and seasons of your return—help us to live ‘ready’ always. (Matt. 24:32; 1 Thes 5:1-6)
  • Lord, help us to discern the season and ‘gather in harvest’ of souls and lives that needs Your touch. May we not be sleeping when we should be gathering (Prov. 10:5)
  • Lord, open our eyes this season, to see the ‘fields’ that are already white for harvest in our friendship groups, workplaces, neighbourhood or with casual strangers. (John 4:35)
Day 3:
  • Lord, show us your thoughts and lead us in Your ways (Isaiah 55:8-9; (Amos 3:7-8) Jer. 33:1-3
  • We pray that we will not be ahead or behind God's timing and seasons. (Eccl 3:1-8;11; Isaiah 40:31; Habakkuk 2:3)
  • We pray for the boldness & wisdom to take the right steps in all areas of life (1 Chronicles 12:32; Esther 4; Neh. 1)
  • We pray for necessary favour, wisdom, and attitude at every season of our lives (Ps. 102:13; Ps. 23:5; Luke 2:52)

Other scriptures:
  • Jeremiah 8:7; Psalm 31:15; Matthew 23:37-39; 25:13; 2 Peter 3:10
Equipping Confession for this season—
  • We will walk in discernment of God’s mind for us; we will not be confused or helpless.
  • We receive the Spirit’s inspiration and guidance; we trust in the Lord with all our heart; we will not lean on our own human wisdom, and in all our ways we will acknowledge the Lord. We believe He will direct our ways this season.
  • We will spiritually perceive times and seasons; wisely  position ourselves to distinguish what is consequentially necessary and boldly take required actions and measures.
  • We will not be afraid of predicted or actual famine or drought—the Lord is our Jireh.
  • We declare that “wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of our times--the strength of salvation and the fear of the Lord will be our treasure.
  • We receive Holy Spirit's help to discern the times and seasons of Lord's return and to live ‘ready’ always.
  • We open our eyes this season and we see souls ready for harvest. In Jesus name!
